Can Penn State Sneak Into The BCS Title Game?

Thats true, PSU does have a hard stretch of games....but I am expecting PSU to be undefeated when they meet with OSU. Unless, Tressel takes some chances...I see PSU winning that game.

PSU has a tough 3 game stretch the next 2 weeks: @ Wis @ 8 pm this Saturday Home V. Michigan next Sat*** @ Ohio State @ 8 pm the following Sat### The Michigan game is *** as it is a game against a team we haven't beaten in 9 tries in 11 years & it is a sleeper game in b/t 2 tough road games. (Wisc & OSU have lost a combined 4 games in 5 years. ### Also to note that OSU will be much better than the team that got whooped on the road at USC w/out Beanie Wells and not having true freshman T Pryor w/ 4-5 games under his belt.

Ohio State may not have done much in the last two championship games, but I would hardly call being the only undefeated BCS conference team (including wins over three top ten teams) in 06 'backing in'. Even last year, who would you have replaced them with? Georgia, who beat no one and lost to a 6-6 Southern Carolina, or USC, who lost to TWO unranked teams? It's not the Buckeye's fault that no one else could avoid choking at least twice. And why the double standard on hating the Buckeyes anyway? I don't see anyone dogging OKLAHOMA for basically choking away their last FOUR BCS appearances. Also, I would hardly call an undefeated PSU which would have won on the road AT Ohio State and AT Wisconsin (who lost only 5 home games over the last 4 years... COMBINED), and at home over Illinois and MSU, both of whom will finish in the top 25. Finally, Ohio State is NOT the Big Ten, most big ten teams (ESPECIALLY PSU, Michigan & Wisconsin) do pretty well vs the SEC & Big 12 in bowls, since joining the Big Ten in 1993 my Nittany Lions are 5-2 vs the SEC and 3-0 vs the Big 12 in bowls, as well as 1-0 vs the PAC-10 and 1-0 vs the ACC. PSU has the highest all-time bowl winning % in all of D-IA (and since 93 has been EVEN HIGHER than the historical average) and aren't going to roll over for anyone; if PSU goes 12-0 we will have EARNED our championship slot.
